Senior Show was a huge success this past weekend, from the musical to the skits. But with all great success, comes great penalty. After seeing what fun the seniors had, and getting to enjoy time with each other in their last year of high school, underclassmen began asking the big questions. Why can’t we have that kind of fun? Why wait until senior year?

That question is going to be answered! Instead of waiting until senior year, all students will be able to participate in their own show. The seniors were handed a great privilege in doing their own show, but all other grades are now welcome to join them.

There will be a spot at the beginning for all grades to do some talents of their own. Acts can range from singing, to tap dancing, and everything in between. The longer the better! With 2016’s show being 3 hours, we figured that a show featuring all 4 grades will last about 7 hours. A whole school day.

The School Show, which is now what Senior Show will be known as, will then feature a musical in the second act. There is no musical that can include nearly 1,000 people, so all the music kids will team up to create one of their own. This show will make sure to include at least one cameo appearance from every single person in the school, to ensure no one feels left out.

We know what you’re thinking, how much are tickets for this amazing show going to cost? Well, because it will now have to be a fundraiser for four grades, tickets will start at $150, for back row seats. If you want to be able to see your child up close and personal, front row seats will rise up as far as $2,500.

This is a great addition to school activities, and we’re happy to announce it here! Get ready, WMHS, the biggest show of the century is coming right to your backyard. Make sure to get a good night’s sleep, and eat before you come. No food or drink will be allowed in the theater. For this seven hour show, there will only be a 10 minute intermission for a bathroom break. Hope to see you all there!
